KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Everything you need to fish including: All fishing gear, bait, fuel, rain gear, life jackets, and the cleaning and bagging of your catch.

BC SALTWATER LICENSE

Make sure you have your Saltwater Fishing License and the Salmon Conservation Stamp (required to retain Salmon). All members on board need a license. These are available online and must be brought with you on charter. If you need assistance with printing please let us know.
Get your license here: BC Tidal Sport Fishing License

DRESS APPROPRIATELY

Likely you will experience all types of weather during your charter. While we do have rain gear onboard we suggest everyone dress in layers. Most mornings start off cold/cool and afternoons end very warm - especially in the summer. For off season charters you need warm layers; wool/fleece, gloves, toques, warm socks and waterproof footwear.

DON'T FORGET

Sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera, layers, water, meals, gratuities, and licenses. A cooler in your car for your catch if you aren't heading home right away.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

We typically leave early in the morning and purchasing food before your charter is extremely limited. Even our fast food options aren't always available at this time. Please plan ahead. Simple hand held snacks, fruit, and sandwiches are easiest to deal with while you are on the water. Don't forget to pack your own beverages.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY

A $400 deposit is due at the time of booking to hold your date. Your deposit will be refundable up to 10 days before your trip, after that your deposit becomes non-refundable. The balance is due the day of your charter. We accept cash, e-transfer, and credit cards (3.5% processing fee).

AFTER YOUR TRIP

PROCESSING YOUR CATCH

If you wish to retain your catch, we will clean and bag your fish. If you are not comfortable with processing your own catch you can go to one of the processing companies in town for further trimming, portioning, vacuum sealing, packaging, and possible shipping.

We highly recommend High Tide Seafoods (250) 914-1868  hightideseafoodsltd@gmail.com for your processing needs. They are very willing to accommodate next day pick up if notified in advance.
